Join us for a webinar that will explore the influence of identity on professional experiences and outcomes of Black social workers in the UK.

Sharing learning from the Centre for Peace and Security at Coventry University, this session will examine the impact of navigating workplace dynamics, advocating for minoritised children, and delivering care for children, especially those from minoritised backgrounds.

Learning Outcomes

As a result of taking part in this event, participants will:

  • Gain insight into challenges and strategies to understand the approaches these professionals have taken to navigate systematic issues and identify actionable opportunities for positive change.
  • Connect personal narratives to broader themes by exploring how experiences illustrate key themes of inclusion, policy and practice to enrich professional understanding.
  • Enhance professional perspectives by leaving with practical insights and strategies that can be applied across various roles across the sector.
